When you nominate other bloggers, please make sure that you are following them and send them a message letting them know that you have done so.

The number of bloggers they're suggesting is 11. ;P

Now to the questions from Gin! :)

Question 1:    Other than make up, what's something else you love to do?

Other than makeup I really love doing hair and nails. Design in general really interests me so nail art or anything artsie makes me happy :) Will definitely have to post more nail art posts up for you guys! :) Took million of pictures but haven't posted them! :) I also love drawing anime/manga in my free time. I occassionally do portrait drawing but that's not too often... :)

Question 2:    Do you prefer cosmetics from where you live currently? If not, where?

Some products I would purchase from here since it is much cheaper however I have a very big obsession with foreign products such as Korean products or Japanese cosmetics. The packaging is so cute and I think it's more suited for Asian skin compared to the products in the USA.

Question 3:    What are your favorite Skincare products?

Right now I am in love with the Simple skincare line but I don't use it too often. Most times I like to mix the products together. :) Recently I have been trying to implement in more of the korean products that recently purchased! I really love the Tony Moly Wonder Water and the Etude House Moistful Collagen! Other than that I really want to purchase more Korean products, especially in the skincare area! :)

Question 4:    How many nail polishes do you own? Which is your favorite?

I own the more simple colors but not that many. I get to work with polish all day since I currently work as a cosmetologist but I actually don't own that many. Maybe around 20 or so bottles? Idk. ;P I really love the Fingerpaints shiny sparkle called Colorful Collage. It's such a bright and pretty glitter that just adds the oomph to any nail color! :)

Question 5:    Share your favorite toner, serum, or lotion. Why?

Right now I am using a witch hazel toner occasionally but I also have been trying the Simple brands toner since I can easily get some if I run out! :) The Tony Moly Wonder Water right now has been what I have been using for some time and I love it! :) I really want to try serums from Korea so definitely have to purchase some later! :)

Question 6:    Have you even gone through intense breakouts? How did you cope with them?

Yes I have. Right after high school I developed some crazy allergies to all sorts of different fruits and vegetables like Grapes, green beans, and asian fruits (the love of my life haha). But I can't eat most of that anymore since it will cause my face to swell and little bumps and dots to appear all over my face along with my lips and innards (?) swelling and itching. I didn't realize that I couldn't eat those things and I guess the consumption of it had caused the toxins in my body to go really high or something but I had a really bad breakout all over my face in the form of little bumps and hives all over my face. The thing with it though is even after I took medication for the reaction, the tiny bumps remained all over my face and did not go away for months and months on end. I was really at wits end and could not get them to go away. I tried multiple products and tried to stick with them but the bumps and rashes would not budge T.T They just continued to grow and stick on my face. Regular pimples go away after a while but these stayed put for many months. I tried to squeeze them and the only thing that did was made them giantic in size and go really red. I looked monstrous in College so I ended up becoming really paranoid that everyone was looking at my face so I always wore a cap or some sort of hat to try to hide myself. Then I realized that I needed to eat more healthy and stop eating a lot of fast food and drinking carbonated drinks and stuff like that. I avoided anything that made me allergic and so I haven't tried to eat any of it even till now! :) The million tiny bumps on my face eventually started to go away so I realized that my eating habit was the problem. I regained a little confidence even though my body was another issue when I was more chubby. Diet is very important especially if you have some crazy breakouts! Try to stay away from sweets, carbonated drinks, and oily food if it's happening to you! :)

Question 7:    Are you insecure about any part of your body?

I would have to say in my younger days I was insecure about my hips, thighs and butt (haha). My mom always said to be glad I have a big butt but I really like how other Asians have such a small and petite frame whereas I have bigger bones and a big butt T.T My mom has almost the same frame as me, she says it's her American side that gave her the butt... since no one in the family really has that.... everyone has more of a flat bum...lolz I think now that I am older I really don't mind it anymore. I look sexay anyways.. lolz.

Question 8:    What is your absolute favorite food?

Oh god... why must you make me answer such a hard QUESTION!?!?!?! WHY!>!>! I have too many favorites to actually just pick one T.T I love my moms food... especially Springs rolls, cream cheese wontons, pork buns, her Pho, um... so many things that I love. I love chicken enchiladas, quesadillas, um... papusas too... keke. I love too many things to have one favorite :P

Question 9:    What is your opinion on plastic surgery?

This is gonna be a huge topic isn't it? I guess I will start. I am not someone that is against anyone having plastic surgery. To me, if someone is upset or depressed about their features and decide they want to have surgery to fix it there's nothing wrong with that. If it will make them happy then that is all that matters. Would you want to live happy or upset and depressed about yourself for the rest of your life? We only have one life to live. YOLO! The years are too little to live unhappy and miserable. If you are depressed and sad it only shortens your life span so flip the frown into a smile and live life the way you want to! :)

As for me, I am afraid of knifes and needles and shots and anything that brings pain so I don't think I could go through with it. I am confortable with myself right now so I don't think I will consider getting it.

For all the girls who have tried makeup, and everything and want to get it then you can! I root for you! IF YOU ARE HAPPY, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS! Not what anyone else says!

Question 10:    Do you have any home-made remedies? If so, what does it do?

Um.... I really don't know any haha.. next question reporter!

Question 11:    How much make up do you wear on an average day?

I really like the simple and natural look so I tend to not go all hard core on a regular day haha. Usually it would be bbcream and a lippie. If I feel special I would do eyeliner, bb cream, mascara, and a lippie. haha.

Second person to nominate me is Joyce from IntoFace! Link: Click Here

Joyce writes very good reviews and most of the time I always visit her page to see if she has a review on something that I want to buy! It's very useful for me so please do visit her blog and look at the Korean product reviews galore!!!! Also her layout is very very cute! :)

Please do click the link above and give her a visit! You may really love the content! :)

Now here's my answers to Joyce's questions! :)

Question 1:     What is your favorite cosmetic brand?

Right now I am seriously in love with Etude House, Skin79, and TonyMoly products! :) Such cute packaging and awesome product! :)

Question 2:    If you could only bring one item with you to wherever you go, what would you bring?

Um.... it would probably be the...shoot this is really a hard one. For makeup stuff it would be....facial lotion... I get dry easily haha. As for other non related stuff it would have to be...

Question 3:    How much do you spend on your cosmetic per month?

It depends on the month haha. If I make enough money to spare I may end up eyeing something and getting it later. Some months I don't purchase much but sometimes my obsession with cosmetics get the better of me. I always buy in bulk so I have quite a bit of cosmetics to last me a while haha. .... :)

Question 4:    When do you start using skincare?

I use a lot of skincare products about every single day now right after I started to have a bad allergic reaction to a lot of the food I ate a couple years back. Along with a good diet I try very hard to take care of my skin with a lot of skincare products. It's very important to take care of your skin! :)

Question 5:    What is the most expensive cosmetic that you've used before?

I would probably have to say some products from lancome like their tresor perfume and foundation. Other than that their wrinkle cream too but that wasn't a good experience T.T

Question 6:    Which country do you wish to travel most?

Keke if you had to ask me.... definitely to either Korea or Japan... even Thailand or Taiwan would be pretty cool! I love different cultures and after seeing all the hotties from Korea and Bishi's from Japan I definitely want to visit their country! Why you no where I live!?!?! Lol I really would like to visit London too! My cousin lives there and I really want to see my nephews one day! I haven't seen them since they have been born but definitely hope to visit them one day! :) I saw the pictures of them and they are just adorable with curly blonde hair and blue eyes! :) Love mixed kids! They are too adorable! :)

Question 7:    What do you do with your cosmetics if it's not suitable for you?

Most of the time I would give them away, if it doesn't work for me or break me out I will not use it and tend to just give them to relatives or friends that it works for. Really hate it when that happens but sometimes what doesn't work for me works for my sister or cousins so it works out as a gift of sorts hahaha!

Question 8:    What is your most favorite gift/present you've received before?

It would probably would have been my first ever given ipod that's still with me! My love for music really called for it! :) The ipod touch was the love of my life for a while until tablets came out and I've been lured by nice looking technology T.T It's not good for my health! haha :)

Question 9:    What's your wishlist for Christmas?

If I listed you guys would never be able to finish reading this post. I want too many things so I guess I will list really simple things for now haha. It would probably be drawing materials like charcoal, watercolor paper, prismacolor pens, copic markers, etc and etc. A table would also be really nice. If anyone has the power to deliver all of my wishlistic stuff to me feel free to contact me keke jk! :)

Question 10:    If there's a product on your wishlist, and after reading many negative reviews, would you still purchase it?

Probably not. I tend to always rely a lot of reviews from other bloggers which is why I am so glad and thankful for anyone who blogs and does review!

Question 11:    If you could only choose one: makeup or skincare?

This one is probably the easiest question here keke. It would definitely be skincare!!! IF you have perfect skin you wouldn't need the other one.... hahaha... I don't have perfect skin T.T

Now I choose you!!!! Bloggers!!!!

Review: Face It Extreme Bold Pen Liner EX The Face Shop

Hi guys! It's been such a long while since a post hasn't it? Well, I have an excuse! :)

Well, my internet has been down and up for the last month or so. The technicians have come here almost 4-5 times already and each time they changed the modem and rechargeable battery. One tech even said that they could have set up defective equipment before he changed it out T.T Which makes me think, why would they do that???

Are they trying to set me up? I have service with AT&T right now so if you have service with them you know that if anything happens to your internet it takes a while for them to send techs out unless you live in a big big city T.T Sadly I live in a small town.

Anyways, I wanted to post this a while back but never had the chance with my crazy internet. This is from my purchased from Cosmetic-Love.com

Description: Easy Drawing & Blackest Black & Long Lasting. A bold pen liner that creates an assertive eyeline that accentuates the defined shapes of the eye. With the simple bold pen eyeliner, the the first-timer can apple a smoky power line instantly. Blackest black color expressing the boldest of blackness is added with smooth luster to highlight clearly defined lines. The 24-hour all-day waterproof formula maintains lines perfectly clean from tears, perspiration or sebum.

Amount: 2.2 g / 0.07 oz

Ingredients: water, acrylates copolymer, black 2 (CI 77266), butylene glycol, alcohol denat, acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymore, beheneth-30, pentylene glycol, polyglyceryl-3, disiloxane, triethanilamine, ethyhexylglycerin, sodium hydroxide, phenixyethanol, methylparaben, sodium dehydroacetate.

Smell: Smells like regular liner... a little bit like markers >.< Not too crazy so it's not too bad! :)

First drawn onto my overly dry hands T.T

I ran both warm and cold water over it afterwards! :)

I softly rubbed the line and they came off very easily! T.T

After that I thought maybe it was my hand so I drew a line on my other hand and waited for it to dry before rubbing softly with completely dry hands and it still started to fade ~.~

Pros
  •  Easy to apply
  • Drawing on was very easy
  • Very compact and easy to hold
  • Can be easily store for travel

Cons
  • Have to be careful on pressure since too much can make a lot come out causing thick or thin lines
  • Easily smudges
  • Can be easily erased :(
  • Does not stay on 24 hours like promised

Final Verdict: Originally I thought it would stay well but after testing it does not stay as good as other waterproof ones >.< I originally ran over water, warm and cold, stayed on but just one simple brush and it smeared, as you can tell in above pictures. I drew it on the opposite hand and waited for it to dry before rubbing softly and immediately the line got lighter and was easily erased. If you are looking for something that will stay very well, this is not the product for you. If you have oily lids this will probably not last for you at all >.< You would have to keep reapplying everytime since this product easily comes off.  I suggest not to buy this if you want something that will stay on longer.

3/10 - Since the package says it is waterproof and lasts up to 24 hours and clearly it didn't last very long.

Will I buy this again? No.

Hope this helped you guys! :) See you in the next post! :)
